About Me

Hey there, fellow explorers! I’m Hany, but most folks call me Honey. At 28, I’ve got a real itch for adventure and a knack for connecting with awesome people all over the world.

Life’s too short to stick to one place, don’t you think? That’s why I’m all about diving into different cultures and making genuine friendships along the way. When I’m not off wandering, you’ll find me dancing my knees off on the dance floor, hitting the slopes on my snowboard, or whipping up something tasty in the kitchen.

I’m big on staying healthy and eco-friendly, so you might catch me experimenting with plant-based recipes or doing my bit to keep our planet clean.

But let’s talk about you! I’m super excited to meet fellow Couchsurfers and hear about your passions. Whether we’re having deep chats about life or just sharing a meal together, I believe every connection adds a sprinkle of magic to our journey.

I'm a passionate lover of life, and I find joy and excitement in so many different things. Some of my current interests include:

Music: I'm a huge fan of live music, and I love discovering new artists and genres from around the world. Whether it's a local band playing in a small bar or a huge festival with thousands of people, I'm always down to dance the night away.

Nature: Being outdoors is like therapy for me, and I love exploring new parks, forests, and beaches. Whether it's a leisurely hike or an adrenaline-fueled adventure, I'm always game.

Food: I firmly believe that one of the best ways to experience a new culture is through its cuisine. Whether it's trying street food in a new city or cooking a traditional meal with a local family, I'm always excited to explore the culinary world.

Philosophy: I'm a deep thinker at heart, and I love engaging in discussions about life, love, and the universe. Whether we're debating the merits of different ethical frameworks or just pondering the meaning of existence, I'm always eager to explore new ideas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To put it simply, I'm Couchsurfing because I want to see and experience everything this world has to offer. I believe that the best way to truly understand a new place is to live like a local and engage with the community, rather than just hitting up the tourist spots. By staying with Couchsurfing hosts or showing fellow travelers around my own city, I hope to create authentic and meaningful connections that will last a lifetime.

And of course, I'm always on the lookout for new friends to join me on my own adventures, whether it's a spontaneous weekend trip or a long-term journey across multiple countries. So if you're looking for a travel buddy who's open-minded, spontaneous, and always up for a good time, look no further!

FREE WISDOM
"The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun."
(Chris McCandless)

Interests

I’m a bit of a rollercoaster when it comes to passions—I dive into different things with all my soul until something else catches my eye. Yep, I’m guilty of that a lot!

But amidst all the flux, there’s one thing that’s been a constant: my fascination with world politics, economic debates, and how societies shape our lives. I’m also a sucker for all things psychological and philosophical—stuff that makes me question everything about my existence. And yeah, most of my conversations tend to end on a deep, pensive note or with me zoning out entirely.

I’m on a mission to stay motivated—to explore, reflect, and dive into discussions about the greater good of our world. 🌍 Let’s embark on this journey together!

Music, Movies, and Books

📚 BOOKS
sadly, I don't read that much nowadays but i like audiobooks and i have listened to a number of different ones in the fields of evolution, history, philosophy and stuff.. i like Robert Greene's books, and Yuval Noah Harari's Sapiens. 100 Years of Solitude will always be one of the dearest books to my heart.

🎶 MUSIC
i listen to random music from all genres but my favorite band of all time has to be LONDON GRAMMAR. i like very hard techno, lo-fi dreampop, indie pop generally and maybe some alternative rock as well.. this doesn't mean i don't listen to crappy pop and hip hop music, i am still britney's bitch 😂

📽 CINEMA
when we meet up, ask me about my film library!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

👉🏻 backpacking western Europe during my late teens in my first Euro trip ever, it was relatively a short journey, but filled with a lot of laughter, adventures and lessons!
👉🏻 watching all 150+ hrs of top gear and the grand tour.
