About Me

About Us (Updated):
Britta 29 yo and Yacoub 32 yo from Germany and Egypt on a trip to Lisbon, Sintra, Porto then Berlin. We're interested in meeting people and seeing new places. Currently we live in the craziest city of Cairo, Egypt. Britta is a language freak, she speaks god knows how many languages, crazy about horseback riding, a professtional Tango dancer and a Yogi. Yacoub is more into Photography, Videography, and the Arts - that kind of stuff. He is also a cinephile, loves talking about movies and books. We are not strictly vegan but prefer plant-based diet. I like to cook.
We both speak German, Arabic and English fluently.
We like to meet people and animals too. We love meeting new people, share stuff and to hear and live new stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

Shawshank Redemption, Amadeus, House of Spirit, Big Lebowski, Jim Carrey movies for a good laugh, Also the Coen brother's, and the oldies.
I loved Sapiens: a brief history of mankind, a very enganging and insightful book that kinda changed some views of mine. The celestine prophecy is another novel I enjoyed reading. Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Siddhartha of Hermann Hesse, the Count of Mont Cristo.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Crossing the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world after a couple of days hiking trek in the Alpes. We got lost in a hicking trail inside a forest on top of a range of mountains in Montnegro and were found a couple of days later by a donkey loaded with very tiny apples. It was very sour, but I eat it though as I was too hungry and fed up with wild mushrooms. We followed the donkey. It lead us to a very old man drinking Apple vodka at 9 in the morning. He insisted that we drink with him, before he could show us a way out of the forest on top of the mountain.

A wild safari in Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater and seeing the big five, yeah, that was something too.
