Hello there I'm Ahmet from Istanbul, Turkey. I'm 32 years old and im working in tax business. Since i have a stressful and busy job, traveling is one major thing does good to me.

First time i traveled abroad was to US in which I participated to work and travel program when i was 18. After that i addicted to traveling and im always looking for a chance to see a different part of the World. Instead of visiting every museum, i'd prefer to meet with locals, learn their culture and sharing experiences on my journeys.

Do your best to be happy without hurting anyone. Stay open-minded and respectful. Don't stay stuck in your own ideas of what is good or right. Keep moving.

I'm on here because:

- I'm hoping to get off the cliché tourist path, stay a while, and really get to know a new community.

- CS seems like a wonderful community on its own and I think it could be an enriching part. Not only is it a great community, it's a useful tool to understand and immerse myself in your local community as well.

- I've never hosted anybody but, if my roommates weren't against the idea, I certainly would. Hosting definitely lies in my future, especially if the CS community is as gracious to me as it has been to others.

- from what I hear, majority of people that use this site are truly one of a kind.

I like Hard Rock, Classic Rock, Blues, Jazz, Country and latterly Latin Musics and Military Choirs. My all time favorite is Queen for sure. Other than Billy Idol, Camel, Chick Corea, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, The Red Army Choir, Seafret, David Bowie, Gloria Estefan.

I mostly like movies from 80's and 90's. My favorite director is Martin Scorsese and my favorite actors are Jack Nicholson and Steve McQueen. Cincinnati Kid, A Bronx Tale, As Good As It Gets, The Thomas Crown Affair.

Can't say it was amazing but I was almost starting a strike in my company againist unfair working hours when I was working in US via work and travel program. At the end of the day we took our rights back, have some supervisors replaced and suddenly I became very populer among the workers.
