I am living with my family(my husband and two sons 11years old and 8yeas old ) in Kaiyo-cho,Tokushima prefecture .

Our house is in the most country in Japan.
Where I live there are more wild animals than humans.
There are no shops or stations within 20km.
Local buses stop 3 times a day.
We speak English little bit.

We like nature very much.
So we moved here from Tokyo 15 years ago.
A beautiful river(Kaifu river) is flowing near my house.
In summer season we can swim in the river.

Our house is very very old Japanese style.
We can prepare a room for couch surfers.
We accept travelers with children,too.

Our purpose is the exchange culture.
We hope for the guests and the whole family to have fun.
My children still can not speak English,
but they do not shy at all.
They are looking forward to playing with guests,
so sometimes play with them when you have time.
That is what we want our guests to do.

My husband is a smoker.
He smokes outside the house.

My house is very old.
No air conditioner.Only fan.
Drop toilet .
We have to use firewood to heat up the bath.
So we have not shower.
Water is from natural valley water.
There are many insects and snakes around the house.

People who don't like insects or people who are nervous are not suitable for our house.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
