My name is Aia and I am from Yakutsk (the coldest city in the world and in Russia). I really love to travel and explore this world. Previously, I only traveled during my vacation, but now I took a break from work for a year and started traveling without a time restricter. I like meeting and communicating with people, exploring a new culture, and also talking about my unique Sakha people. I like to walk around the city, I like to travel to different places, climb mountains, ride a bike through the city at night, and so on.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love getting to know a city and a country through the people who actually live in the place. New places and new acquaintances are the source of my inspiration. The world seems even bigger and more interesting if you have friends in every city who are ready to give you a roof over your head.
