New to the slow travel lifestyle, trying to enjoy a month or more in each country I visit. 2022 has been an eye-opening year! Listing a bunch of things that were never on my traveling bingo card, but happened anyway (gotta take the good with the bad!):

-Dancing and sipping coconut liquor on the street in São Paulo during (belated) Carnaval ❤️❤️

- Hearing a huge music festival right from my bedroom window ❤️💔

- Fighting off the fireman who wanted to move me from my comfy sleeping spot at the club ❤️💔

- Getting denied boarding on an international flight at the last minute 💔💔

- Seeing the entire city of T'bilisi from a ferris wheel on top of a mountain ❤️❤️

- Having spicy adjika pepper ice cream with the crunchiest ever waffle cone ❤️❤️

- Climbing the 1000 steps of the Yerevan Cascade and seeing Mount Ararat in the distance ❤️❤️

- Getting robbed of my backup phone and a small amount of currency at my first ever hostel in Thailand 💔💔

- Getting claustrophobia crawling into the Viet Cong underground tunnel system in Cuu Chi 💔💔

- Failing to sleep from drinking too much Vietnamese coffee, and doing 2 days of work in one night ❤️❤️

- Trying (and failing) to learn how to ride a bike in the Mekong Delta 💔❤️

- Going dancing all night with people I just met (thanks, Hangouts!) ❤️❤️

- Watching two Couchsurfers from my Hangout group get into a relationship in real time ❤️❤️
