About Me
Well well well... I am a newbie to couch surfing but many friends have recommended it so here I am. I am currently hitching around Eastern Europe with a partner, camping where we can in our old green tent. Wildcamping is my favourite but don’t always meet so many people that way.
ACAB and #uprootthesystem (of oppression, capitalism, racism, patriarchy, cis-sexism, colonisation, militarism, etc).
I love singing and playing on the guitar I just found during my travels (I’d love to play or sing with you!). meeting people and practicing my French or learning bits of the local language wherever I am. I try to write a couple of pages in my journal everyday - poems, thoughts, lyrics for new songs, quotes from people I heard talking on the street. Green places make me feel most at home <3 I grew up on a farm, so I think cities will always feel unnatural to me. I love listening to stories too - I think they’re incredibly powerful.
In Australia I study sociology and am an environmentalist and social justice advocate in my daily life. I try to work this in to my travels too. When I return home, probably in November, I will finish my degree while working as an environment officer in the student union of my university. Then who knows what!? Don’t think I’ll be getting any kind of 9-5 job...
For now that is all! I hope to host some cs folks when I’m back in Melbourne (Narrm) but I hope I catch you in Europe before then. :)
