Overview
About Me
I love traveling as much as writing and sincerely take into granted my adventures as a source for my written works. I'm also an artist, I paint every now and then (my medium's oil and acrylic, and I'm learning how to master watercolor!) and a dancer. If there's anything I'd like people to know about me, it's that I'm somewhat very spontaneous but not so much that I don't have a clue on the life I want to live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I see couchsurfing as another way to get out into the world every now and then. I feel that the experiences and relationships we have to strangers are sometimes more life defining than the ones we have with our regular peers. I love encountering people because each of them has a unique story to share, and that for me is something I've always looked forward to.
Interests
I'm a big, big fan of anything related to food and art, most especially with Asian and Latin American cultures. I've been studying wines and spirits now and then, and their pairings with different food groups. I can't say I'm an expert, but I also want to know more about the realm of coffee and how it's grown in different environments. Taste is a big thing for me when it comes to the places I visit as I believe that one's culture is mirrored in the food that they eat.
On the art side, I have a great appreciation for old cities and ancient works of art. One can definitely feel the connection between the passed times and the present just by looking at it.
