About Me

Greetings all! I am human! i am also an aspiring biologist currently working on a doctorate in chemical genetics. I have a strong passion for music in all its flavors and beauty, enjoy listening and talking music with other fanatics, and free flow jamming instruments when ever i get the chance with new people. I enjoy cooking and pondering philosophy with others. I'm easy going and give where i can. I believe in helping anyone of any ethnicity or gender identity with altruistic kindness where and when i can, because everyone deserves a helping hand and smile to get by in this world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have had many positive experiences with traveling strangers within my own country NZ, enjoyed learning about different cultures and upbringings, how different yet the same they are to us. I have made great friends from such situations and gained so much invaluable wisdom that i am hoping to continue finding more of the same in other countries. I believe that the best way to achieve this goal is by couch surfer everywhere and anywhere i can. place myself in a vulnerable position in a foreign land and hope for the best.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a long time love for odd time signatures and beautiful melodies, dig anything and everything from Omar Rodriguez Lopez to Brian Blade. Am currently listening to new Animals As Leaders album, and have a ticket to Cat Stevens later in the year. Enjoy Manga here and there, but currently reading Hermann Hesse's Siddhartha while watching Twin Peaks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fed the local homeless dude a BK meal of his choice

Teach, Learn, Share

Happy to teach molecular biology or music if interested, or i can share my food and experiences with a buddy.
