Hello! I’m Aidan & I’m 22. Travelling across the USA, with my best mates. Eventually heading for Mexico and then Colombia before heading home.

So far we’ve been to New York, Philly, Gettysburg, DC, Shenandoah, Jamestown, George Washington National Park, Asheville, Savannah, Nashville, Memphis, New Orleans, Houston, San Antonio, Big Bend National Park, Austin. Long way to go yet!

I grew up near Liverpool in the North West of England. I spent 3 years living in Oxford, England where I studied history.

Since I graduated last year, I have been saving up for this trip, learning Spanish and playing football (soccer) in the evenings.

Relatively new to couch surfing and absolutely love the concept. Have stayed with plenty of people before on other platforms like Airbnb, hip camp, WWOOF.

I’m looking forward to getting to know some interesting people in the USA and exchanging some funny stories. I’m fascinated by the variety of people and places in America and can’t wait to experience it for myself. I’m always looking out for beautiful places, interesting music and culture, and tasty food. I’m very easy going and always up for a laugh and able to get along with anyone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We camped on a farmstead on St Helena Island, South Carolina. We got up before sunrise to help our host Tony plant his collard greens. In return he took us on a beautiful fishing trip. We caught a load of fish and later cooked them up in traditional Gullah style at their farm. What an amazing experience!

Huge history nerd. Enjoy the outdoors - camping, hiking, kayaking, scuba diving. Can speak a little French & Spanish. Play a bit of guitar too.
