I recently graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle and am now living in the San Francisco area, where I know approximately 5 people. Part of me knows I need to get a job, but a bigger part of me isn't ready to settle down. I love meeting new people and exploring wherever I am.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of learning about a place from a local perspective and couch surfing has the potential to help with that. I want to go places, see incredible things , meet interesting people, gain new perspectives...and unfortunately that means spending money. If I can do all of the above and save a little money to use on experiences instead of sleeping by crashing on someone's couch, so much the better.

Interests

Reading, being outdoors, exploring, live music, yoga, biology, good food, good drinks, anything by the ocean, and sunshine. Also, dogs.

I have two favorite quotes. One is by Albert Einstein, who said "I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious." I want to hear your opinions, your stories, your ideas, especially the not so brilliant ones, or anything else you want to enlighten me with. I'm a better listener than I am story teller, but I am still pretty reliable for a good conversation.

My other favorite quote is "There is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way." - Thích Nhất Hạnh.
