Hello, I'm 20 years old and trying to figure my life out. I'm currently living in Berlin as an au pair, but I'm not sure this will be a long-term thing. I know as a future career I would like to work as an outdoor instructor at some type of outdoor high adventure camp for kids. I am a rock climber (boulderer), I love hiking, backpacking, looking at art, reading, and having intelligent conversations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on CouchSurfing because I am in the process of planning a road trip across the United States to see all of my friends, and am looking for places to stay between friends. I also love meeting new people, and would greatly appreciate the experience of visiting new places without the rush and hassle of a planned vacation.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy bluesy folk music, indie stuff, and certain hip-hop artists. My all-time favorite movie is The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, and my favorite books are usually science journalism, or something along that line. I'm not really sure that the genre is called.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the same day, I threw a frisbee about 110 yards and (playfully) fought off 6 different, sugar-high, very sticky children without letting them tackle me to the ground.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you many useless facts about black holes and their properties, I would love to learn to properly sew buttons and whatnot back on, and I'm always happy to share my experiences and learned wisdom with anyone who wants to hear it.
