ABOUT ME

I am a 21-year-old Irish male student. I would like to think that I am a fun guy with a good sense of a humour and a very open mind in terms of everything from music, food and film to topics of conversation and people. As a result of this, I will try everything that I possibly can and I hate when time is wasted. I love people above all else, hence my degree; Psychology. I played football for my youth but recently, since moving to Australia, I'm into flow arts and performance arts primarily, namely fire-dancing. I also love to travel off the beaten track preferably.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and I love the idea of the house of a random stranger in a foreign city being opened up as a home to others.

Interests

I just love the craic and going out with my friends and stuff like that. How do I spend my time? I like reading, listening to music, playing chess, partying, cooking, having a spin of the poi, a game of football, swimming, chilling with friends. I have a deep interest in self-understanding and I believe that it should feature on everyone's ultimate list of goals. I also love to learn and expand my mind and will try to do this any way I can from talking to people to watching documentaries. This is associated with a very strong interest I have in sleep and dreaming and achieving lucidity in my dreams, a skill which I am in the process of trying to master.

Music: Wow, difficult: If I had to choose 5 bands, they would be The Gloaming, Bonobo, Sigur Rós, Massive Attack and Kasabian.
Movies: Again, nearly impossible: Top selections would be 'Synecdoche, New York', 'There Will Be Blood', 'Pulp Fiction', 'La Haine' and 'The Hurt Locker'.

I trekked the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal.
