About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See new places, meet new people and in the process, mould myself a fairly nomadic lifestyle. Most of the time I've got no idea what I'm doing, but that's part of the fun.
ABOUT ME
Everyday should be an adventure! After all, I have no intentions of being 90 years old then looking back and thinking: "Well at least my career was ok, wasn't it?". It's a HUGE cliché I know but really, we don't get a second shot at this whole life thing.
The world is here to be explored, but I just arrived 500 years too late where I could have been roaming around the earth like a pirate, discovering countries, jungles, tribes and convincing people the earth isn't flat.
I am one who makes decisions right before carrying it out, if you do nothing but make impulsive illogical decisions, we'll get on swimmingly. Spur of the moment thinking just makes everything more exciting.
If I could and knew how, I'd be fairly happy not even having a roof over my head and going wherever the feeling takes me. One day you may stumble across me living in a jungle somewhere.
PHILOSOPHY
Pursue whatever you feel like and not what you think is the 'safest bet'. It might not even be remotely logical, but do it anyway.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted couch-surfers before when I used to live in St Ives which was fun to do, it's always a great experience to meet new people from around the world. Although when it comes to being the couchsurfer itself, whatever experience as a couchsurfer next, will also be the first.
Interests
I like everything outdoors and one day I hope to make my career out of it. Risks - I love risks. Anything that might make someone raise an eyebrow and think "what the hell is he doing?", I'm always game for.
That's why with a lot of training and work, the goal is to be a tandem paragliding pilot, then maybe onto skydiving, then mountain climbing, then who knows? It can take you anywhere in the world which is the greatest thing about it.
But that's next years goal to start.
- outdoor activities
- skydiving
- rock climbing
- paragliding
Music, Movies, and Books
If it puts a smile on my face, is fairly chill or just makes me want to move... then that's my style of music and really isn't genre-specific.
Other people have said and I quote that some songs can be fairly "strange", but that's why headphones were invented.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
... or is the question what I'm going to do?
Oh no wait, I've got one! Met some new people in a hostel in Ireland and that evening I found myself in a field with 70,000 other people watching Foo Fighters, Kaiser Chiefs and Hozier.... wasn't even planned ;)
I thought that was pretty cool.
Countries I’ve Visited
Hungary, Ireland, Norway, Spain, Switzerland
