I was born in a little town in the east of Kazakhstan. Now I live in Almaty. Work as an English translator. I like to travel and meet new people. But I can do it once or twice a year only.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Once my friend told me about this CS project. I found it very interesting since it gives you possibility to meet new people and learn new cultures even if you do not travel yourself! It is great! And I am here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new here. Have no experience in this project yet. But from my travel experience I know that even if you do not know the language you can communicate with people! Once I've been in Istanbul, I came in the morning and had a day before my next flight. Walking around the city I met a young man - he spoke only turkish. And we have spent 5-6 hours together - chatting, walking around, though I don't know turkish. He showed me some interesting places in Istanbul. And that was a very nice beginning of my travel!

Interests

I like to do simple things with pleasure - reading, watching TV, meeting my friends, listening to music (style depends on my mood), dancing. I like to cook coffee and share it with my friends.
