Overview
About Me
We're Aigner and Grace, an adventurous couple new to the world of couchsurfing. We’re on a mission to explore the world, one couch at a time. We're passionate about connecting with people and immersing ourselves in diverse cultures along the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing isn't just a means to make our travels more budget-friendly; it's a doorway to connect with a multitude of souls on our incredible journey. Our desire goes beyond saving money; it's about enriching our adventures by imparting knowledge, exchanging stories, and absorbing the wisdom of others. We're here to teach, to share our own tales, and to learn from the myriad of experiences that fellow travelers graciously offer. Couchsurfing embodies the spirit of exploration, camaraderie, and continuous growth, and we're thrilled to be a part of this global community.
Interests
Our shared interests encompass the joys of travel, the pursuit of delectable yet affordable dining experiences, cozy movie nights, and the heartwarming moments spent with children. While I thrive in the realm of product management, Grace, despite her background in accountancy, is currently exploring her newfound passion in nursing. These diverse interests and career paths enrich our journey, adding layers of unique experiences and stories that we're eager to share with fellow travelers and hosts around the world. Whether it's swapping travel tips, discovering hidden culinary gems, discussing the latest films and series, or cherishing heartwarming moments with kids, we look forward to creating memorable connections along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies are our jam, especially the heart-pounding stuff like horror and suspense. 🧟♂️👽
When we hit the road, you can bet we're cranking up some laid-back pop tunes to keep the vibes just right. Who doesn’t love Taylor Swift, anyway?! 🥹
As for books, well, we're not exactly bookworms, but hand us a travel book, and we're in for an adventure, even if it's just from our couch! 🗺️
So, if you're into scary movies, chill tunes, or want some travel tales, we're all ears and ready to swap stories and recommendations on our journey together.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We backpacked Indochina (7 Southeast Asian countries) while Grace is a month pregnant with our first kid. Definitely won’t try it again though. 😅
Teach, Learn, Share
In our journey, we're not just seekers of experiences, but also eager sharers of knowledge. We're excited to introduce others to the rich tapestry of Filipino culture, from its vibrant traditions to mouthwatering cuisine. But it's not just a one-way street for us; we believe that every new place and every new person holds a lesson. We're on a perpetual quest to unravel the intricacies of people, cultures, and cities, for there's always something new to discover. We've learned that travel need not be extravagant; it's about passion, resourcefulness, and a willingness to embrace the world on a budget. We're thrilled to share our insights and experiences to inspire others to embark on their own cost-effective adventures, proving that the world is more accessible than one might think.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We’re excited to bring a piece of our vibrant Filipino culture to our gracious hosts. From the pristine beaches of Palawan to the bustling streets of Manila, we can share the best places in the Philippines that have left an indelible mark on our hearts. Our country's rich history, diverse culture, and mouthwatering cuisine are a treasure trove of experiences waiting to be unveiled. Whether it's a taste of our beloved adobo, a glimpse into our traditions, or a chat about our colorful history, we're eager to offer a genuine slice of the Philippines to our hosts, creating lasting memories and cultural exchanges that bridge the miles between us.
