Overview
About Me
I absolutely love meeting new people and learning something new anywhere I go! Everyday presents us with thousands of opportunities and I believe we should seize them all:)
I started using Couchsurfing back when I was a student and I'm really grateful for all the wonderful experiences and encounters I had thanks to this platform.
Originally from Kazan, Russia, I studied at Moscow State University and graduated with an MA in Linguistics in 2022. Now I work remotely in the EdTech field as a community and project manager and besides that, I teach Italian. I like languages (teaching and learning), literature, playing guitar, ukulele and piano, postcrossing, hiking, and travelling. I’m also into the eco-friendly and minimalistic lifestyle.
I lived in Moscow during my student years, spent a year in the US, Colorado and also a semester in Rome, Italy. For some time I've lived in the beautiful town of Fethiye in the south of Turkey and absolutely adored it as it's a fantastic place for living and hiking. And after my nomadic adventures, I have recently moved to London, UK, so finally settling in my new home. Love this journey and meeting like-minded people along the way!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My philosophy is that the best way to experience a country from the inside is to meet a local :) Isn't having international friends all over the Earth just amazing?

What I Can Share with Hosts
I always loved learning and discovering something new about different countries and cultures, and it seems to me that Couchsurfing is such a great place to find like-minded friends and simply interesting people from all over the world! If you wish, I'd voluntarily teach you a bit about the rich Russian and Tatar cultures and our traditions. I also know quite many languages, so I could happily give you some lessons :)
