About Me

I’m Aigul from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 Living and studying here in Rome. I’m the girl who is passionate to educate herself by traveling, knowing different cultures, talking to people who are from another side of the world, exchange ideas, sharing experiences and etc. I don’t smoke. I do respect each person’s choice and privacy area.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it’s a great opportunity to meet with right people in a right place. Especially when you’re traveling in abroad you don’t have enough time to make things done, you want someone who has already same interests as you. You want to know local people and if they’re indeed open minded you’re just lucky. For those reasons I think this couch surfing is the best option!

Interests

I love riding a bike and swimming kind of activities. I’m not a professional cook but I love cooking, testing new receipts, new cuisines. I love watching movies and also YouTube.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading (recently before I’ve never tried to read), I love writing stories (so far only for myself).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been in the USA in 2018 for whole summer by the program “Work and Travel”. It was my first time being abroad and so far from home country which is in Central Asia. I lived in MA, Cape Cod, Mashpee city. I had a really good experience by this program for students. I worked in a kitchen for three months and after that we went for trip with friends. That year was amazing, also because it was for me as a discovery of something very worthy.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am big fan of art and I am completely agree with that philosophy that “all children are very talented, we adults just don’t have to destroy or change it”. I’m fond of philosophy and psychology.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook but everyday. I’m able to show the city as possibly as I can, since I’m a foreigner here in Rome don’t expect from me the best Rome guide 😅 I would like to have a conversation and sharing experiences with new people.

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, Italy, Spain, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Italy, Kazakhstan
