关于我

For me, couchsurfing is more than just free accommodation; it's the most fascinating variable in travel.

I love the pure trust and connection between people. I've been both a couchsurfer and a host. As a guest, I'm grateful for the couch reserved for me and the time spent sharing life; as a host, I enjoy brewing you a pot of tea, pointing out a hidden alley known only to locals, and seeing the light in your eyes because of this "exclusive memory."

My home may not be luxurious, but it will always be clean and cozy; I may not be witty, but I will always be sincere and reliable. What I hope to build is a relationship that transcends "host and guest," more like a brief encounter with friends. If you share this travel philosophy, feel free to knock on my door.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because I was tired of the alienation of moving from one hotel to another. I wanted to know what people in a city ate for breakfast, where they went for walks in the evening, and how they spent their weekends—things you can only truly experience by staying with local families.

More importantly, I loved the feeling of having family on the road. No matter how far you travel, as long as there's a place where someone is waiting for you, the journey is no longer lonely.

音乐、电影和书籍

Music is the background music as I walk, from the narrative of folk songs to the improvisational freedom of jazz; melody is the anchor of my memories.

Film is another pair of eyes through which I see the world. I prefer those shots that burst forth with power in silence—Hirokazu Kore-eda's restraint, Kaurismäki's dry humor, or the stark black-and-white emotions in old films.

Books are my portable sanctuary. On my shelves lie Nabokov's butterflies, Borges' labyrinths, and some well-worn poetry collections. I trust the recommendations of a secondhand bookstore owner more than bestseller lists.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

That was my first time hosting a couchsurfing session. The other person was a girl who had never traveled far from home; she was both nervous and excited. I spent an entire night sketching out the places she wanted to go, my favorite cafes, and even the locations where cats frequented each neighborhood, all in a small notebook.

On the day she left, she said, "This is the most precious travel guide I've ever received." She went to many places afterward, and that notebook stayed with her.

This experience made me realize that doing something small, as long as you put your heart into it, can become a beacon of light on someone else's journey.
