Hello,

My name is Aila, I am a Brazilian and currently live in Florence, Italy.

I have a degree in computer science, and I have volunteered in recent months.

I discovered just how amazing it is to travel. I came from a culture where traveling is not one of the most important things in someone's life. But I've changed a lot of concepts lately.

Despite being a bit shy, I enjoyed meeting people and sharing experiences with them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in couchsurfing mainly because I want to meet people from different places. Teach and learn from them. Divide experiences and grow as a person.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy Brazilian music, and I usually listen to old songs from the 90's, 2000. Despite that, I'm a very eclectic person in relation to music. I enjoy watching classical music concerts, but I also listen to rap with lyrics that speak of social problems.

About movies .. well .. I prefer the series. I appreciate all kinds, except for terror. Sleeping, for me, is an important thing!

In relation to the books, I miss to read more! Immersed in the age of technology, I usually read more articles on the internet! :(

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left my country to volunteer in Italy. I became interested in volunteering the moment I knew how it worked. After a few years came the opportunity to serve in Italy, and I left my job, my family, my life in Brazil, to live this experience, and I am very happy to have made this choice.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not good at many things, to be able to teach, but I've been a teacher of some subjects in computer science, and I teach programming at least! :) I can also teach a little about the culture and cuisine of my country and Italy. I can also teach Portuguese and the basics of Italian!

I can share experiences and stories and I am always willing to learn new things!
