COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was in Prague for about a week in spring 2011. I was in a 4star-Hotel for 4 days. the other 3 days I was couchsurfing.
The Hotel was absolutely perfect. But just like any other hotel, you forget everything about it after you have left it.
On the other hand, I met so many interesting and funny people during the couchsurfing, that I'd never forget these 3 days and the friends I met ever :)
