25 y.o. guy living in Prague, open minded, bit cynical, with sense of (black) humor and sometimes dork and awkward. Curious (and lazy in the same time) for most of time. I enjoy travelling on my own, because I want to meet local cultures and people, understand them and learn something about them... or on the other hand, I love nature, hiking and going to places where other people don't.

In every case I'm interested in uncommon and strange places which are not crowded by hundreds of people. I enjoy nature as well as old industrial buildings or some old architecture (gothic and roman are my favourite).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new and interesting people from another parts of world, I really enjoy to explore other cultures and languages. And because I want to offer a safe place for interesting travelers who want to explore not only our city or country, but also a part of our czech culture and meet a bunch of interesting people on their way!

Interests

I am interested in a lot of things: Hiking in mountains and rock climbing and sleeping under the open sky. Play the bodhran and singing bowl (and guitar from time to time, but I'm guitarist as good as a ballet dancer... i.e. not at all). I love so much to going to concerts as there is nothing better then live music, but also to galeries and theatres. From time to time I am drawing (some vector graphics mostly), writing (scripts for pnp games like Shadowrun or Savage Worlds which I am playing with friends) or creating some DIY stuff (mostly for larping).

I enjoy exploring of local cultures as well as old and industrial buildings or out-of-the-way nature beauties where nobody goes. I also love sociology and psychology, learning about societies and human mind and it's behavior.

I'm in love with whisky. Especially with old and unusual one.

Music, Movies, and Books

Watching to: Mainly to weird and awkward movies (Turkish Star Wars, The Room), strange sci-fi (Solaris, Trudno byť bogom, The Dune) and british sitcoms. And then to some hollywood

Listening to music of any genre... it just have to be interesting enough. But black metal, trip-hop and stoner are my favourite.

Books are sci-fi, fantasy and dystopia all the way. Frank Herbert, Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, J. R. R. Tolkien, George Orwell, A. C. Clarke, ...
