My name is Aileen, I'm 20 years old and I'm from Austria. After I graduated school I decided to become an Au Pair. For those of you who don't know what it is - you live for a certain time with a hostfamily and take care of their kids. Currently I'm living in Pennsylvania, USA and take care of three wonderful children.

I'm an openminded, spontaneous and reliable person. I like to travel around the world, see new amazing places and meet people from all over the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about couchsurfing a few months ago and I think it's an awesome opportunity to meet new people (especially local people) and see new places. I definitely want to become a host too as soon as I have my own home.

Music, Movies, and Books

Reading is one of my favorite activities especially while traveling. I like fantasy books like Harry Potter or divergent and drama (John Green books).

I would say one of my favorite movies is Harry Potter too but I also like to watch action or romantic movies like fast and the furious or me before you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the best thing I have ever done in my life was becoming an Aupair. It's the best opportunity to travel around, get to know new people and get to know the American way of life. I'm really glad I made this decision because I found my second home and my second family in the US.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can definitely share the Austrian culture and my experiences of being an Au Pair. I can teach some German or cook some typical austrian meals.
