Hello there :) Before the hills and mountains turn to dust, please spare me some of your precious time. It's my pleasure that you'd like to know some info about me as you continue reading my self introduction :p

My name is Aileen but my you can call me on my nickname - Ai2x. I am born under the elemental sign of earth snake. I was born and raised in Philippines. Currently, i am based and working in United Arab Emirates.

I have always been interested in working overseas and meeting new people with different culture so moving abroad helped, as it depended my exposure. Though at times it has a mix of challenges and benefits. I am proud to say to my old self that i became more mature especially as you face big life changes (#ALONE) and i have learned to take care of myself extensively.

The experience being abroad is invaluable and a huge career advantage. It made me highly resourceful and able to better understand other cultures.

One of the many reasons i love to travel is it helps open my mind. I am always eager to know and expound my knowledge to new cultures and meeting people from other places that will show me that the world isn’t the same as everyone else’s. By being exposed to new places, people and cultures, i believe i will develop a wider world view. And that will make me a better-rounded global citizen. It’s a great reward and big reason why i love to travel.

Another powerful reasons that i love to travel is getting in touch with yourself and appreciating life.

Getting away from my usual routine gives me the opportunity to reflect my life. I will have the needed time and space to let my mind wander and take stock. Traveling is one of the best ways to learn more about myself. I love that feeling when you’ll come home knowing yourself better, and with a fresh perspective on what you want out of life. The experience will change your life - ETERNALLY.
