I'm curious about others and am always wiling to learn, but not always able to be taught ;) In truth, I love cooking for hosts and sharing and exchanging recipes! I've got the typical American trait of smiling a lot, but I'd like to think it's due to my openness to experiences.

I'm quite young (for now) and recently discovered that people have mid-life crises because they were not able to accomplish what they set out to do. I promise myself to never let that happen and always set out to travel at least once a year or meet up with travelers

When I was 20, my first solo backpacking trip was touching a pyramid on a camel in Cairo, Egypt.
I realized how small we all were when sitting atop the Acropolis in Athens, Greece
Sunbathing in the beautiful sea in Eilat, Israel was a glimpse of heaven
Visiting my 40th country: Scotland. Edinburgh is one of the most charming cities in Europe
Visiting family in Jakarta and Seoul more than 10 years ago still gives me happy memories.
