About Me

I am a college student who recently studied abroad for a semester in Santiago, Chile and then took off the next semester to travel around South and Central America. I love to write music, sing, hike, cook, and learn languages. My younger brother (13) is the coolest person I know. He wants to be a chemist when he grows up. I am a huge fan of Indian and Thai food as well as sushi and creative salads.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a woman, I find it both fun and empowering to travel alone. I am a friendly person who loves getting to know new people, and couch surfing provides me with a safe way to do just that and learn about the culture of each place I visit.

Interests

I am currently starting to listen to more world music, and trying to learn Italian, and cook as often as I can.

Recent source of pride: overcoming altitude sickness just in time to climb Huaynu Picchu (ruins overlooking Machu Picchu)

Teach, Learn, Share

I carry my ukulele with me which I can teach you to play. I also make metal jewelry and depending on whether I have tools on me, I can turn you into a street artisan.

I love to learn almost anything that is important to someone else. Recepies, how to fix leaky faucets, where to find good cheap food in your city, what has made you who you are, anything

I share my music. If you are one of the rare souls who owns piano, blessings upon you!!! If not, a guitar or my uke will do.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share music, stories, and a love for life.
