About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live in the moment and allow medicine, food, and dance to connect me to people
ABOUT ME
4th year resident physician in Houston. I’m a remix of medical philanthropy, body movement, and my gut, no literally. I really like food.
PHILOSOPHY
On the other side of those challenges is a better, more mature version of yourself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted interesting folks and enjoy learning about how they ended up in the area or their life goals. Traveling is an unforgettable transcendental experience. I have enjoyed meeting people with a passion for learning in all walks of life. Some of the most interesting people I have met don't know what they want to do in their lives, but they take control of the steering wheel when they can and don't just sit back waiting for life to happen.
I do work and study a fair bit, so I don't often get to show my guests around as often as I used to. But we hangout where we overlap with availability. For now, I can at least offer warm conversations and food recommendations in the area :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
While growing up in Dallas, TX, my family hosted several international guests--singers, emcees, family friends, etc. We also held tai chi classes in my house throughout college. They were peaceful people with great life-outlook!
Being away from home, I participate in couchsurfing where I get to know people from all over the world and spend time with them, something that I miss from my childhood. It is the best way to travel and meet interesting people.
