I did an exchange to a French school and family when I was 16 and now staying in hotels seems so soulless to me, I feel like if you don't get a local's perspective, you can never really learn about a place.

Music: Too much to list- Everything from Ariana Grande to Hozier, I love Lissie, Bon Iver, Nicki Minaj and am currently obsessed with Spanish music. Usually play folk/acoustic stuff on the guitar.

Books: I love Joanna Harris books as well as classics like Jane Eyre, read a lot of Young Adult in my time and grew up with Harry Potter

Movies: I'm a sucker for a quirky Rom-com or a british film but love a good action film every now and again.
