Overview
About Me
I'm an Indian, currently in France for my PhD in Optics and Informatics.
I hail from a liberal and progressive family and very open to accepting the differences in the cultures. You can expect me to be a carefree and go-with-the-wave kind of person. My idea of fun is trying new things, meeting new people, getting to know different sides of a story I already know and getting involved in the discussions of the catastrophes the world is facing while I'm out for a weekend party. I am not a good dancer but when I hit the floor, I really get in the mood.
I love Harry Potter world and any potterhead can engage me in a long duel of conversations.
By ideas and actions, I'm a feminist and can't stand I-am-superior-than-thy-as-I-am-a-man attitude.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I do not travel every time, but still I've been at quite a few places.
The idea of getting to live the city with a citizen is far more appealing and exciting instead of living in a paid set of four walls.
While I am on a couch-surfing stay, I would learn how to be the most polite and be an exceptionally learning guest.
As a student in Europe and any other back-packer, I travel very tight on budget so CS is good for me, but it should not be mistaken to be my idea for choosing CS.
Interests
I love to go out on strolls and get lost in new cities. I have my own ideas of fun, and sometimes travelling alone makes me feel more comfortable.
But, on max occasions I travel with someone ( a friend usually).
I really love reading books, preferably a thriller or a feminist true story.

Music, Movies, and Books
Harry Potter series is my all-time favorite and I can watch it a millionth time again. Apart from them I like all the "magical world" movies. Thrillers and mysteries can engage me very well too.
My favorite author is "not J K Rowling". She is Jean Sasson , an American author of The Princess Sultana fame. My favorite book is The Bastard of Istanbul by Elif Safak.
You can expect me to hum along songs of Adele, Indila, A R Rehman and many more. My taste in music is quite diverse.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My lawyer asked me not to disclose it to the Public.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my stories, my tastes, my food (of course) and anything reasonable which my host would like.
