I'm a student from the U.S., but right now I'm doing a year-long program at Albert-Lüdwigs Universität in Freiburg, Germany. I'm studying German as well as Web and Mobile Application Design.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to see more of Europe, and I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures, so I thought Couchsurfing would be a great way to do that! However, I do understand if my host doesn't have time to spend with me, a couch to sleep on is, either way, appreciated. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I come from an incredibly small town in Upper Michigan (12,000 population), so for me, learning a new language and moving to Germany for a year has been a big deal. I know for many people it might not be, but I think being from the U.S., where the chance to really immerse yourself completely in a new country and culture is so slim, the opportunity to live in beautiful Germany for a such a period has really been life-changing.
