ABOUT US

We are a couple from the UK looking for friendly hosts in Europe

Aimée (24) is a design student and flâneuse originally from Leeds, who spent 3 years at university in Paris learning French and working as an au pair.

Harry (24) is a musician living in Leeds (originally from Evesham) who regularly travels around the UK to play and teach.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Aimée: I spent some time couchsurfing in Antwerp and Amsterdam with my flatmate, it was so great to explore the cities through our hosts eyes- they knew the best places to show us, and we socialized in the evenings over candlelit dinners and storytelling. Our hosts in Amsterdam also took us to visit other towns such as Edam, Volendam and Monnickendam- places we would never have thought to visit if we weren't couchsurfing.

We also hosted our Dutch friends in Paris and enjoyed being the tour guides, we had such a great time and still stay in touch.

As for Harry, its his first experience couchsurfing but regularly spends time touring around, meeting new people and socializing while playing

Interesses

Aimée: Art (sketching, painting, drawing, looking at it etc), design (studying interior design at the moment but into all fields of design), reading, philosophy, cuisine, markets, traveling + exploring, scuba, kayaking, ballet (watching + learning as a beginner) languages, cats (..all animals), mountain climbing, walking, psychogeography, history, photography, theatre, film

Harry: Music (writing, performing + listening), literature & poetry, theatre & film, visual art, architecture, walking (especially through an unfamiliar city), languages (very basic French + German), history, philosophy, science, coffee, dogs

O Que Posso Compartilhar com Anfitriões

We offer our cheerful dispositions! We also enjoy cooking (we have a specialty 'salmon pasta' dish, though we don't know how well this well this will hold up in a country famous for its beautiful pasta..), Melissa can provide you with really great coffee too
