About Me
Hey I'm Aimee, nice to e-meet you!
I’m currently living out in Oregon where there is a never-ending amount of waterfalls, forests, tide pools, high deserts, lakes, rivers, ancient lava flows, buttes, mountains, and my lil adventurin’ heart has never felt luckier! I’m an avid cyclist who recently got into bikepacking, and I’m a big fan of spending sunny days by rivers.
I’m an environmentalist, labor activist, rock enthusiast, and a cat mom.
PHILOSOPHY
“If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.” -HDT
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started using Couchsurfing in May of 2014. It has helped me across the United States and through my later trips across South East Asia. I’ve met such lovely people through CS, and I’m still friends with some of my hosts from the first few trips which really says a lot about the kindness of this community! I haven’t been active since 2016, but I’m excited to get back out there and meet fellow couchsurfers & hosts :)
As a couchsurfer, I like to hang out with my hosts and hear about why they love the city/town they’re in. I’m respectful of spaces and will always clean up after myself. I spent years working & living in hostels, so I’m very familiar with shared space etiquette.
As a host, I’d love to cook you dinner & show you around Portland!
I’ll also be traveling through Northern Spain in August 2026!
