About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel the world- One continent at a time
ABOUT ME
I left Australia in 2009 on a mission to travel the world, one continent at a time. Why not start on the complete opposite side of it-England.
Added bonus: English speaking mother country.
Just another Aussie who cannot speak a language other than English.
Love Love Love being on the other side of the world. Simply because it is- different. Forced me to get out of my comfort zone.
In my travels so far I have realised that every country must put up with me for at least ONE month so I can really immerse myself in it and find out what it has to offer. Instead of just seeing it through the lens of my rather annoyingly slow camera.
Best way to immerse is spend some time living with a local. Someone who is 'in the know,' who can teach me about the country they live in. CS sounds like the perfect way to do all of the above, with the added bonus of helping people on tight budgets to continue travelling!
When I either return home or find my own place in the UK I will be able to return the favour and offer my own couch.
PHILOSOPHY
Currently living life to travel, learn, laugh, play.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love movies but I warn you: I don't often see a movie more than once so if you quote a movie, there's a high chance I won't catch on.
Only just getting back into reading anything other than uni or work related text books and loving it!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelling to Egypt is the most AMAZING thing i've ever done (So far). Seeing the pyramids from the plane was so surreal. I have seen so many unique and beautiful places in the world, but this was like no other. Something I highly recommend.
Teach, Learn, Share
I feel somewhat disadvantaged being born in Australia as I was not forced to learn a second language. Thus I want to learn another language. I am thinking Spannish after spending a month there. Anyone who would like to teach me a few things please send me a message! Plus did you know that being bilingual is thought to delay the onset of Alzheimers till at least the mid 80's. Even more reason to Learn Spannish!
