ABOUT ME

I would prefer to live like a nun for 9 months a year if it means that I can travel for 3. (I am currently living with my parents and 2 younger sisters to save money for my European tour this summer.)

PHILOSOPHY

Do what you love unapologetically.

兴趣

I would rather be outside to anything else; biking, hiking, volleyball, softball, rafting, etc. I love to swim with my dog in the Columbia. When indoors, I love to watch old movies. Anything with Katherine Hepburn, Ginger Rogers, Jimmy Stewart, Doris Day... I love to sing/hum/whistle/tap beats, anything to make music.

Music: Standards! I love old standards and Big Band! Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Rosemary Clooney, Dean Martin, Doris Day, etc. I like any music that has great melody. True, honest, simple melodies; that is what makes music. I don't really like rap, r&b, or techno/club music.
Movies: I pretty much love them all (except the scary ones!). I have an extensive collection. I have a special love for Disney, the classics (1940s-1960s), and cheesy musicals! Laugh at will, but they make me smile.
Books: Right now I am trying to read and re-read some of the classics every other book I read. Jane Eyre, Little Women, Pride and Prejudice, right now, the Secret Garden. When I'm not bettering myself with the classics, I like "smut", you know, that no-good, straight entertainment, fiction that is the equivalent of brain porn (it appears to be good, but in actuality does nothing for you). I am also in love with Isabel Allende and Gregory Maguire!
