ABOUT ME

I like to listen to good music (I would love to know about the local music scenes of where I am going!), read some books, watch some movies, and other normal stuff. I like to sing karaoke too- if you know of a good karaoke bar in your area please let me know!

PHILOSOPHY

Go with the flow. It's so hard to remember on a day-to-day basis (and it's not what Americans usually live by) but life just flows easier when you go with it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've stayed on a few couches and loved the experience. This website really attracts a lot of great people! I've hosted a few and look forward to hosting more. As you can tell if you read my references, I usually live a very busy life and will be in and out of the apartment. But if we both have some free time I'd be happy to show you around a bit, or at least give you recommendations of where to go in Chicago.

PS. I DO NOT HOOK UP WITH MY COUCHSURFERS. As a single woman I am protective of myself and my space. Please do not hit on me or make me feel uncomfortable in any way. Likewise, if I host you or surf with you, I will remain respectful and maintain a safe environment at all times. I am a reasonable person but do not like to receive (or give) unwanted advances.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed on couches and in spare rooms in the US, Turkey, Czech Republic, Spain, Netherlands and Iceland. I've recently become more involved in the Chicago groups, and even found my new roommate from Couchsurfing. I love this community! :)

Intereses

I recently found out that i make a pretty good bruschetta. Cooking and creating... and I can teach you how to use chopsticks! :) I also knit, and I like to talk about health related stuff.
