About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy all that life has to offer

ABOUT ME

Where to begin? I am a pretty easy going person, I love good humor and good food. Just graduated from college. Majored in history, but most of my work has been as a secretary in television studios or as a crew member. I've recently started doing amateur stand up. I don't want to do stand up, but I'd like to write for a comedy tv show, so stand up seems like a good way to do that.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything will be all right in the end. If it's not all right, it's not the end.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only couchsurfed once and don't seem to be in a very preferable area, as I haven't gotten many couchsurfing requests. But this whole road trip I'm taking is totally dependent on couchsurfing so I need to get on moving to a city so I can give back!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Once in Philadelphia, now all over the country!

Interests

I love to dance, try new food, hike, I love live sport games, especially hockey (I just can't play!) I really love art and film, magazines and television. I love meeting new people, trying new food and new booze. I played college rugby. And lately I love taking pictures. I'm documenting this whole road trip we're on here: http://adventadultland.tumblr.com/

Music, Movies, and Books

I think my favorite bands of all time would be something like The Cramps, Apples in Stereo and Bob Dylan. Movies I could talk about forever. I love Annie Hall and all Woody Allen films, Pan's Labyrinth, Heathers, Bonnie & Clyde, Leaving Las Vegas, Fight Club, O Brother Where Art Thou and all Coen Brother films, Some Like it Hot. I am currently studying french new wave film and Godard because I love films with highly saturated color. Books I've loved have been Middlesex, Out of the Doll's House and into the Night and Center of the Universe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a train trip through Europe with a friend of mine in 2007 which was amazing and got to see France and Amsterdam.

I hiked a week's worth of the Appalachian trail, another great experience.

And this road trip - probably the coolest thing I've done yet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm pretty good at cooking I think. I'm also pretty good at brewing hard cider and wine out of almost any herb, flower or fruit you throw my way.

I'd love to learn a new language or how to play the piano
