About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Korea, Russia, Brazil, China, France

ABOUT ME

I'm a (too) laid back chap from a nasty little town called Dartford near London England. I left it as soon as I could.

I'm enthusiastic, open minded, and disorganised. I get bored when things stay the same and will try anything once.

I now live in Amsterdam.

PHILOSOPHY

Make the most of it

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have this crazy job.

I used to do it in europe, but I just started doing it over the the whole world.

Since starting I decided that I should stop hiding in my hotel. Places aren't that scary, and there's insanely interesting people everywhere who love to have a good time in their own way.

I want to see all of those ways and meet all of those people.

When I stay somewhere I usually have a hotel so I just want to meet new people in each place and go out for a fun time. I have a house in Amsterdam at the moment, so I'd love to welcome guests from anywhere and find that fun time here with them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a newbie, my colleague that also does the same crazy job recommended couchsurfing to me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love anything surreal, esoteric or just plain weird. Haruki Murikame, Iain Banks, Greg Egan
Various anime/manga series
Any music. I love rock, grunge & metal, but have checked out folk, trance and samba parties and loved them all. I want to try more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked into a bar in east village NYC having never been there before, got talking to some random people, ended up being welcomed into the lives of many of the bar staff on avenue c.. boat trips, free drinks and late night parties like I've never seen before for the whole week.

Sometimes human acceptance & kindness can be the most awe inspiring thing in the world.
