ABOUT ME

I really like to dance. Doesn´t have to be on a dancefloor, or a nicelooking dance, but just jumping and moving my legs and my arms to some kind of rythm is enough for me.

I´m a kinda lazy person, but for some reason I always have one too many things to do at the same time. It´s strange how that happens.

When I was younger I tried to match my clothes somewhat. But I gave up, so now I just wear as much colors as I possibly can at the same time. Doesnt show on the photo though. It´s true anyway.

I have a mother from Argentina and a father from Sweden, so that resulted in a somewhat confusing identity crisis in my teens. But luckily I sort of overcame it. I started studying social anthropology and what do you know, became very interested in concepts like ethnicity and identity. Nowadays I´ve added a feminist and intersectional perspective to that equation.

I would really like to live in a monster trailer with my friends and family and make movies for the rest of my life. With a garden and a goat and a big soundsystem. But not if I had to starve.

Doing not so important stuff in the sun. Fighting male dominance. Filming. Dancing. Reading. Feminist and anthropological point of views. Rubbing my cheek against my sisters. Listening to my mother tell stories about her youth. Riding my bike. Eating new things. Or the same as yesterday if it was good.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am teaching/learning a course in moviemaking with a grup of women from Proyecto MIRIAM, an organization that fights and works for women´s rights in Estelí, Nicaragua. I´ts the best job, I dont want it to end.
Estelí is small but sweet - I can take you to my favourite places!

..and I want to learn more about film making! I could also use some tips when it come to cooking. That would be very good for me. Since my imagination ran out...a couple of years ago...please.
