Hello! I'm Ainesh, a MBA student at IIM-A (India) and am on a 3 month exchange program at SDA Bocconi (Milan). Before this, I had studied engineering at IIT Delhi and worked part-time in a Bistro Bar (did some bartending there as well). Inspite of being a MBA student, I am first a musician and a slam poet and am looking to spend these months in Europe travelling and meeting new people and making new music. I love travelling - train rides and long walks are my favorite. I am not a great cook, but always willing to learn and help!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to meet new people and learn about the local culture. I am trying to work on some new music and poetry and am searching for inspiration and stories in places and people in Europe. I am hoping to find such people here at couchsurfing who can help me stay at their place and work on my music or go to a poetry slam with me! I am also a beer fan (I worked at a bar in college :D) - so I am hoping to save some money on accomodation to try different beers across Europe.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite music - Listen to all kind of music from hip-hop to jazz. I love Damien rice, the Weekend, Maroon 5, Pink floyd, Alicia Keys, Glen Hansard, John Mayer, The Beatles, The 1975 and the list goes on.

Favorite movies - A major movie buff. Casablanca, 12 Angry men and Schindler's list are my favorite movies of all time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacking across Northern India alone, and now across Europe which is where I need the help of some hosts in Europe!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to play the guitar and sing to the hosts, maybe write a poem for you. I can share stories about India and the Indian culture, maybe try to cook some of the Indian dishes. Also promise to help clean the house and do the daily chores! And I am always ready for a drink or a long walk - whichever one the hosts want to do!
