About Me
@ the moment....
I've been on the move for the last 3 and some years. I'm a pretty slow traveller. That means that I stop very often to volunteer or to work. This allows me to get to know the place, the people and culture a wee bit more and feel part of something while I live where I am. I rarely have a plan as I believe much planning limits you from living a lot of things as you are mostly conditioned by passed plans, that's why I like to go with the flow and see what the universe has to bring! : )
After travelling a bit in Mexico, I went to Guatemala and been travelling and working there for the last 3 months. I'm now shortly going back to Mexico to visit some beautiful friends and get some things done ( visa run, buy yerba mate, a tattoo..)
Unexpectedly I ended up adopting a wee dog which now travels with me. He's a fab companion and entertainment for any one that's around. He's super nice and quiet so pls think twice to host us, we will make our stay be fun and super pleasant.
CURRENT MISSION:
CONNECT!
Connections are everything to me. I feel we are all connected and even if we don't feel it, there's always something there. If not, why do we end up in the same place at the same time?
Be as open as I can to absorb knowledge, experiences and all sort of terms I'm not as familiar ( or yes! ) with. I'm eager to learn and pass on what I've learn while moving, working and volunteering around this gorgeous planet of ours : )
ABOUT ME
After hosting so many travellers I got itchy feet myself, so right after I finished my studies I moved to Scottish Highlands, where I´ve been living and working mostly these last 6 years. After me studies and working in hotels for a wee while, I realized I didn´t like to work in hotels so I choose to work in backackers hostels instead, which again allowed me to met lots of incredibly interesting people from all over the globe. I love traveling for long periods of time ( 6 to 9 months or so) but now I´ve decided to simply live travelling. So I´m on the move most of the time. There´s so many ideas of where I want to go next and what I want to do.....but never a plan : )
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy life as it comes...mind that there´s only one. Do whatever you want whenever you want NO HARMING anyone or anything!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My brother got me into CS and straight away I got hooked. Between the 2 of us we hostel arpund 40 people in the first 6 months we joined the site....pretty crazy; so we had to slow down at some point as our mom´s place looked like a hostel! I love the idea of meeting new people this way, when helping out someone needing a place to stay or when being offered a place when you are travelling around and you are on a limited budget. Plus, isn´t simply nice to do someting for someone not expecting money in exchange??
Because I lived and worked in a hostel for so many years, I couldn´t host anyone, unless they payed our hostel rate, which is was pretty unfair to ask, so I have been off CS until now, so hopefully I´ve be adding more experiences soon!
I made this list years back and I was going to delete it when updating my profile but as I started going through the names....so many memories came to my head...that I wanted them to stay here : )

Music, Movies, and Books
Is great to stop sometimes and enjoy a good movie, bt to be honest, I mostly have seen doumentaries in the last few years.... I´m a big fan of animation movies, that I can say.....but yeah...ask me and see if we like the same : )
Ooohhh, music....soul of life.....for the last few years I´ve expanded incredibly the music I listen to so.....I like lots of differnt styles and of course, it depends on the moment what I feel like listening to.
I´m reading a lot about herbal medicine at the moment, also feminism, nutrition, travel and some classics. But I also enjoy reading a novel as well....haven´t done it in a while though, now that I think of it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ufff... it seems so hard to point at one thing now....
Living in handmade wooden cabin a remote eco-village in Australia, wake up to the kookaburra sound in the most incredible place I´ve ever lived, living amongst wild wallabies, kangaroos and beautiful souls; waking up very early in Laos to work in the rice fields ad come back to the village to teach wee children how to speak English; sleep in the middle of the Amazonas; be welcomed to different families to co-parent with them while baby sitting or volunteering; meeting amazing artists in all sorts of festivals around the world; scubba diving......seing that unknown world underwater that it´s simply breath taking... ; playing poi in an empty beach in Vietnam, in the middle of the night when the only light I could see was the moon aaaaand soooo many more things. I guess, I simply love the way I live. I do it because I think it´s amazing.
Right now, I´m living in a cave in the south of Spain with no running water or electricity. So live is very basic and veery good. I´m learning very fast what i need and what I spare.
I temporary moved here to get my driving licence (very cheap here) and meanwhile I´m working in an Irish pub. After here.....I´m going to Iceland for the winter season and hopefully I´ve save enough money to go Mexico, where I´ll start a 3 to 4 year adventure down south. Haaappy days!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teaching and learning.....yeap, experience, enjoy, live, love, absorb as much as you can. Learn from anything and anyone. Learn to listen to start with, and then....pass it on! teach what you know. Even if you think is only little, will be something new someone knows. As it it said...."you learn something new every day", right? Let it be it.
Everything you know is worth to be told.
Everything you´ve got is worth to be shared.
What I Can Share with Hosts
