About Me
We are a couple who live in Marrickville, Sydney.
We love food, music, art, good people, good conversation and having a good time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We always have visitors, which we love, so thought we'd join couchsurfing and open our spare room up to the world.
We really love meeting new people and learning about different cultures while sharing our own.
We enjoy making connections with people from around the world that we can hopefully meet up with again.

Music, Movies, and Books
One of the hardest questions ever!!
Bheki's reluctant top three:
Outkast, Baraka, The Famished Road by Ben Okri
Ainsley isn't as good at Bheki with choosing....
Music: Massive Attack, Fat Freddy's Drop, Portishead, Katchafire, Bon Iver, Bonobo, Sublime, The Bamboos, Pulp Fiction Soundtrack, Erykah Badu, Haitus Kyote, James Taylor, Traveling Wilburys, Fleetwood Mac... so many more!!
Movies: Some Like it Hot, Stealing Beauty, Moon, Pulp Fiction, Grand Hotel Budapest, Hideous Kinky, anything by Studio Gibli (Totorro, Princess Mononoke..), Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels... etc etc
Books: The Famished Road trilogy, Memoirs of a Geisha, Shantaram, Kafka by the Shore (Haruki Murakami anything), The Alchemist, Khalil GIbran and the list continues...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bheki says... touring with his band True Vibenation through Southern Africa in 2015.
Ainsley says.... again how to choose one thing! Climbing up Gunung Rinjani (massive volcano in Indonesia) a few years ago. And living and working in India for a year was also pretty awesome.
Teach, Learn, Share
Ainsley can teach you how to weave baskets
We can teach you how to play trumpet and violin
We can teach you how to cook some awesome dishes including a traditional African staple (pap, xima, sadza... there are many names), south indian fish curry, Indonesian curry, amazing meat balls, and mind blowing brownies.
We love to learn about new language, culture, music, books, recipes, art, and any other learning opportunities that present!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Probably the same as above.
Oh and we can definitely share good times.
