About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I'm currently travelling the world, visiting some amazing places and meeting some very cool people along the way.
I'm an optimist, believer, a complete romantic. I'm a typical piscean fish and I live most of the day in my head. I trip on my own feet, love to read, write, drink red wine and share a laugh (usually at my own expense). I spent a good few years at university obtaining a Bachelor in Communications (PR), another in Law and then a Masters in Law majoring in tax and finance. In early 2012 I decided that I needed to travel by myself, free from expectations and the commitments of real life and see a bit more of the world. I cannot imagine where I would be now if I hadn't made that decision and I have no clue where my life will now lead! At this point in time I'm trying all those things I've always wanted to do (currently learning German in Berlin!). I'm an easy going, relaxed and fun person to be around. I enjoy most adrenalin sports (back country/heli skiing, sky diving, water skiing, hiking and climbing) for the sheer ability to put a smile on my face and the satisfaction of achieving something crazy that most people wouldn't dream of! I love to talk about anything and everything and I love art and history and culture! Ahhh so much to see in this world - it's amazing that by experiencing new things and meeting new people you can truly find yourself!

PHILOSOPHY

to live is to harness your inner strength and make something out of each moment in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently travelling but I'm looking forwarding to hosting once I'm back home in Oz.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to CouchSurfing but I'm looking forward to meeting new people and experiencing a different way of travelling and learning.

Interests

snow skiing, water skiing, rock climbing, adventure and most adrenalin sports but on rainy days I'll happily curl up with a cup of tea and a good book. I have a wicked laugh and I dance around my living room when no one else is home. I also like anything that's a challenge, I think I'm naturally quite competitive - I hope to compete in a marathon in the next 2 years and I want to go to Base camp Mt Everest, and learn to ice climb!

Music, Movies, and Books

I can't live without Australian music, we have some amazing artists. Movies are pure escapism so I refuse to watch anything scary or completely mind-numbingly stupid. There goes 2hours of my life or $15 I could've spent on a kilo of chocolate! I love to read and will read anything that will challenge my perspective or personal philosophy

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering in Thailand at a childrens' refuge.
Sky diving on the NSW South Coast and raising money for Green Gecko Project in Cambodia!
Skiing in all different places around the world and a recent heli-skiing adventure in Alaska :)
South America.. the people, the places and the food!
