About Me

CURRENT MISSION

keep enjoying and understanding the world

ABOUT ME

I've got a compulsive fixation for reducing my energy and material impact on Earth (although it's often difficult, especially when travelling much), and since I was a child (still I am sometimes, particularly when it's about having fun). This is both part of my personal life as of my professional life: minimimising it is often like a game, and helping others to minimise is a career-worth challenge. I tend to observe everything around but often avoid saying all we could do to be green, for I'm afraid of overwhelming folks. I've realised that just giving example can make a surprising difference.

Whereas there are physical limits, I believe there are no limits for our spiritual and social life. Thus I love maximising the latter by having good, constructive, encouraging conversations, laughing and reflecting on human behaviour.

I tend to feel that I'm in the place I want to be, doing what I want to do, with people I want to be with. However, there are two places that I always feel attracted to like a magnet: my home Basque country for its stunning sea for surfing and awesome mountains for climbing; and my second home Barcelona for its full social life and for the very good friends who I shared undergrad years with and who are walking their lives still there.

PHILOSOPHY

live and let live; eat local; take only photos, leave only footprints; use just the necessary material; excess in spirit and laughs; solve current problems, do not expand on what could have been done about them; be positive, there is always a bright side of things

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I see amazing things every day. I just need to look around: today a pretty flower bloomed while I was sleeping, on Sunday the landscape had completely changed when coming out of an exciting cave, under a thin layer of snow; the sky on Saturday was starred and stunning, and tiny lights from the distant village were tintling...

Teach, Learn, Share

Buff, many things... teach climbing, surfing, graphic design, web design (but rather leaving the computer aside when on holiday), languages, photography, poi, juggling... just ask and there will always be something interesting to say, and learn... everything!
