Über mich
Hey! I'm a master of science student at TU München and a graduate of MIPT of Moscow.
Professionally, I am a mathematician (that is, I already have 3 publications) and a programmer. I love coding (games, especially) and coming up with challenging coding and math problems.
I can also call myself a teacher. While I was studying in Moscow, I was working as a private tutor: eventually, most of my students did great in maths and physics.
I consider myself a creative person as well. I am both a good guitar and a great piano player. I used to perform on stage and even compose music myself. Before corona hit, I'd been a part of a student music rock-band.
I also love reading! Genres I read most include drama and coming-of-age novels.
Sometimes I do sport. I like to swim, play table tennis and jog.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
I've always been fond of maths and engineering. This is why I decided to get my bachelor's degree in physics and mathematics. On top of that, I've dreamt that one day I could move to Europe to continue my education there.
So, I've graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and got admitted to the Technical University of Munich (can you imagine!). Soon I'll be flying to Munich where I'll be needing a host - a generous and helpful person who will kindly agree to share their apartment with me until I find a somewhat permanent accommodation which I know is quite difficult nowadays. Also, I'm open to meeting people and finding new friends!

Musik, Filme und Bücher
I like all kinds of music and am not tied to any particular genre. My favourite bands are probably Muse, The Cranberries and The Beatles. Needless to say, I discover new music every day, for example, when I'm cooking food or doing hw.
For the past 3 of 4 years, I've been mostly watching youtube (Numberphile and Computerphile, Matt Parker, Steve Mould, 3Blue1Brown, Not Just Bikes and other educators), but I'm always for a good movie or series. "The Truman Show", "Knives Out", " Perfume", "Parasite", "La La Land", "Breaking Bad" and "Avatar: The Last Airbender" are the best imo.
As I wrote above, I absolutely love reading. "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen and "Perfume" by Patrick Süskind are definately among my favourite pieces of literature.
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
Last summer, I wrote a story of 80-90 pages which came out rather good. I sent it to 4 of my close friends and later I had four incredibly engaging conversations on the topics of story building and character development.
Yeah, and also I paraglided off a mountain in Turkey once.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
I'm rather good at maths, calculus and analysis and quite confident with algorithms and programming in general. I would love to share some knowledge with all of those who are excited by learning. I'd enjoy giving some piano and guitar lessons as well.
I'd like to get better at German and C++ languages. Even though I'm fluent in English and Python, something tells me I will soon need the former too :)
Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann
First of all, I can offer my company. I'm friendly and talkative and wide open for friendship. Secondly, I would be glad to share my experience from any of those fields in which I have some.
