I'm very new to couch surfing. It excites me just thinking about meeting new people.

I joined couchsurfing to meet locals and travellers, and hear their stories about life, travelling, etc. I want to broaden my field of vision. I want to make new friends.

I went up to a mountain in Beppu using Beppu Ropeway where I mistakenly bought only a one way ticket. A stranger offered to take me with him on his climb down the mountain. Even without preparation, I took his offer, and climbed down the mountain on foot on a chilly winter afternoon! We became friends, went to an onsen and izakaya afterwards.
