Hi, I'm Edward! I'm an IT engineer. Because of my job, I don't really have much time to go out and travel.
But starting this year, I will try to travel as much as I can.

My mother tongue is Tagalog. I'm fluent in English. I can speak intermediate Japanese. With these, I hope to connect to people around the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm very new to couch surfing. It excites me just thinking about meeting new people.

I joined couchsurfing to meet locals and travellers, and hear their stories about life, travelling, etc. I want to broaden my field of vision. I want to make new friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went up to a mountain in Beppu using Beppu Ropeway where I mistakenly bought only a one way ticket. A stranger offered to take me with him on his climb down the mountain. Even without preparation, I took his offer, and climbed down the mountain on foot on a chilly winter afternoon! We became friends, went to an onsen and izakaya afterwards.
