I really love to travel. I love to be immersed in experiencing beautiful places. I spent the first 18 years of my life in a phenomenally beautiful place (Jackson WY) and was blessed with the experience of a school that took me out into nature to fully experience that beauty on a regular basis. I then attended Whitman College. I lived in Boulder CO and Ashland OR for a couple years each, and am now based in Victor ID (next to Jackson WY) while I search for the next beautiful place to spend some time in.
While I have taught dance a little, I am working on becoming an Open Floor teacher. I also have several books that I am working on writing, though nothing published yet. These are my main passions at the moment.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

One time, I got to travel to Fiji with a community service group. We stayed with locals a good amount of the time and helped them with various projects. Getting to actually connect with the people who live there was so much more incredible than just being there, I felt so deeply honored by being welcomed into their homes and getting a glimpse of what their lives are like.
This is a big part of the reason I'm on Couchsurfing, I love traveling, but getting the opportunity to connect with people who live in the places I travel makes the experience much more rich.

Interessen

Being deeply present with the experience of my body is incredibly important to me, because of this I love dancing, skiing, being in nature, and meditating among other practices that invite me to be fully engaged.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love music that I can dance to.
Some of my staple favorite movies are Love Actually, The Labyrinth, and RHPS. Some favorites that I've only just watched are Electrick Children, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and Jack and the Cuckoo Clock Heart.
Some favorite books lately have been Good Omens, The Night Circus, and The Art of Asking.
