About Me

My name is Aicha Ait Sair, I'm 23 years old, and I'm moroccan.
So I live in Utrecht, Netherlands, where I'm currently an eco-engineering intern in TNO.
I am the eldest of a sister and brother. Before coming to Utrecht, I was studying in Toulouse , France for a year and half, and this is my last year before graduation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is my greatest passion ! I've been browsing in the internet about worldwilde tours and fell into this TedX video where he guy was talking about his moneyless trip around the world, and he mentionned couchsurfing as the site he used to know people. So I run to it immediately, I know I'm on Couchsurfing to meet people from all the globe, and maybe host and be hosted !!

Interests

My interests are quite numerous and variable :D !
I'm that kind of girl who could be interested in many things, but the untoucheable ones are Photography and passion for art !
I wanna become a professional photographer and filmmaker too..
I draw on glass and do some decorative recycling.. I like to discover new things and get to know people..
I've been into many social work and lately I discovered volunteering that I would really love to do in parallel with travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Actually, I'm open to all kind or music since it reaches me !
I listen to pop, r'n'b, country.. arabic songs, turkish, indian, spanish, korean .. all nationalities :D
I love Flamengo, Tango and Salsa and all the dancing that thrills the heart !
For movies, I've become quite selective cause I raised a kind of awareness to professional cinematic shooting and acting.. I could state some of my favorite movies like The Shawshank Redemption, Babel, Rendition, The pursuit of happiness,The prestige,The green mile, Dallas Buyers Club, My name is Khan, CLOUD ATLAS, Interstellar, Mr Nobody... and the list wouldn't end !
Now for books, I'd state Eugénie Grandet, The fault in our stars, Arabian Nights, The Yacoubian building..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been the president of the art club of our school, and every year we organize the olympic games where all the other schools participate. We had made a TIFO to express our school superiority above others, and this year, under my leadership, we made the best biggest TIFO of all time, a piece of art that is as blowing as controversial, and I'm quite proud of it :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm open to learn as much as I can, I'm open to know all about other cultures and ways of life, I'm open to know about animals and earth, life and death, every single new item.. I'm just open to it !
And, on the other hand, I'm so ready to share any experience, to discuss and debate with other people, to show my guests the culture they'd like to discover, monuments they'd like to visit, food they'd like to taste ! I'm just theirs :D !

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd be first grateful to any kind of hosts, and I'd do any decent work in exchange of a couch and some food :p
I'd do that open-heartily, I could volunteer, I could teach or help at anything.
Apart from that, I'd be glad to share with them anything they would like to know about my country, my culture, my religion, my major, I would just answer all their questions.. I already imagine we'll have a blast discussing :D
