ABOUT ME

After travelling through South East Aisa, I went to Australia. I met my boyfriend who is from Germany there. I took the big leap at the end of 2013 to start a new life in Germany with him. So since then I have learnt a new language from scratch and settled into german life.
I really love animals and have volunteered at a few animal shelters. I'm quite chirpy and smiley, I have a good sense of humour and love to just have a laugh. I am a big fan of live music and comedy. I am also a bit of a book worm and enjoy reading, I enjoy sharing with others good books to read and ones they have enjoyed.

I am currently setting up home in germany and not quite ready to host. But hopefully soon.
But I am interested in meeting new people from around the world and getting a different view when I travel to places and staying with someone who knows the place.

Interests

I love travelling and seeing new cities. I really enjoy site seeing and visiting art galleries/museams. I'm a big fan of reading and often seen with a book. I also love going to music gigs and festivals. I love animals as I said before. I especially love cats, we have a little cat called Ponyo.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading... I read all the time and whilst travelling I have read a few books I probably wouldn't even think about picking up whilst at home.
Some of my favourite books are: The Hunger Games, Harry Potter and Clan of the Cave Bear.
I love Queen, they are probably my favourite band closely followed by The Beatles. Other bands and artists I like; The Kinks, ELO, OMD, Depeche Mode, The Killers, The Strokes, Britney Spears, ARCADE FIRE, Beyonce, Fleetwood Mac... there are so many.. too many too list.
I'm really into comedy and stand up comedy. Some of my fave comedians are Noel Fielding, Russell Brand, Jon Richardson, Jimmy Carr, Richard Ayoade, Peter Kay and Sarah Millican.
Some of my fave TV shows : The Mighty Boosh, Ab Fab, Sex and the City, The IT Crowd and Black Books.
I'm a massive Disney fan. I think I love all of the old classics.. my faves are Sleeping Beauty and Alice in Wonderland.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did my open water course and scuba dived for the first time in Koh Tao. Really enjoyed it and got to see a turtle munching on some coral.

I could probably teach you some gymnastics if you wanted to learn as I did the sport for nearly 15 years.
