Overview
About Me
I am a grad student in New York. I'm new to the city and would like to make friends and explore in the very limited free time I get. I am passionate about traveling where I would get to learn and immerse in new cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined couch surfing in 2018 when I planned to go on a cliché graduation trip to Europe with my friends. We were hoping to find good places to stay in France and Italy. Well, thanks to couch surfing we found them! I got to meet locals and interact with other fellow travelers, it was a wonderful experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything indie: music, films, people?
I love dark humor, anecdotal books, historical biopics, new wave, fauvism, surrealism, gothic architecture, etc.
I enjoy discussing films, TV shows, and pop culture. In addition to trivia, I enjoy analysing the social context and implications of memes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Trekked the Inca trail and climbed to the top of Machu Picchu (told you I liked to travel).
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you: about my various cultural backgrounds (Indian + Costa Rican + American).
I'd like to learn: new languages and cultures. Particularly advanced Spanish because I want to achieve mastery and need to practice speaking more often.
We can share: anecdotes, lame jokes, food?
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good vibes and rich cultural interaction.
