About Me
Hey! I’m Aishyta—originally from the Netherlands, raised in Aruba, and currently living in the U.S. I’ve been lucky enough to visit 45 countries so far, and I honestly feel like I was meant to explore as much of the world as I can while I’m here.
Traveling is one of my biggest passions, not just for the places, but for the people and stories along the way. I’m also into photography—there’s something special about capturing a moment and holding onto it forever.
When I’m not on the move, I love hiking, reading, writing, learning new languages, and cooking. I’m always up for trying something new or getting lost in a good conversation.
For me, Couchsurfing is all about connection. I love the idea of sharing space, stories, laughs (and maybe a meal or two) with people I’d never get to meet otherwise.
If you’re open-minded, kind, and enjoy swapping stories from the road, we’ll probably get along just fine!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that the art of traveling should be as convenient as ever and what better way to get to know people than to surf on their couch or have them surf on yours.
